Let’s roll up our sleeves and show our town some love!

Join us on April 25th for our Community Clean-Up Day as we come together to help keep Lakeside and Somers beautiful. We’ll meet at Volunteer Park (under the large pavilion) to grab trash bags generously provided by Sliters, along with safety vests, and enjoy complimentary scones from Glacier Perks and coffee from Treasure State Coffee Co.—because doing good should feel good (and taste good, too!).

There’s something powerful about caring for the place we call home. Picking up litter isn’t just about trash—it’s about pride, connection, and community. It’s a chance to spend time outdoors, meet new faces, work alongside friends and neighbors, and make an immediate, visible difference. Every bag filled is a small act of kindness for the next person who walks that trail, visits that park, or drives that road.

When you’re finished, please return your filled trash bags to the large trailer at Volunteer Park by 11:00am. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to bring your collected trash directly to the local landfill.

Bring your friends, your family, your coworkers—many hands make light work, and together we can make a big impact.

Join us for our April Networking Chamber BASH on Tuesday, April 28 from 4–5pm, hosted by the West Shore Community Library.

This month, we’re gathering at one of the community’s most beloved volunteer-powered organizations. The West Shore Community Library has been serving the west shore of Flathead Lake since 1996 (happy 30 years!), providing access to books, youth reading programs, kids story time, and educational resources for residents throughout Lakeside, Somers, Rollins, Dayton, and surrounding areas. Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers and supported through donations and community grants, the library is a true example of grassroots community spirit and a welcoming hub for learning and connection.

Come explore the library’s beautiful home in the heart of Volunteer Park, learn more about its programs and services, and connect with fellow Chamber members in a space built around curiosity, literacy, and community.

Early in the evening, our hosts will share a brief, casual “about us” moment—who they are, what they do, and why they love serving this community—before everyone gets back to mingling. Our Chamber President and Executive Director will also share a few quick updates on upcoming events and opportunities.
