North Valley Hospital Ranks at Top of Consumer Reports in the State of Montana
Consumer Reports is pleased to report Consumer Reports’ healthcare survey results based on responses of one million patients from thousands of hospitals nationwide.
North Valley Hospital has the highest rating for full-service healthcare in the State of Montana, and is number three for full-service healthcare in the Pacific Northwest region. These ratings are based on questions relating to Doctor Communication, Nurse Communication, Room Cleanliness, Discharge Instructions, Attentiveness of Hospital Staff, Pain Control and Hospital Quietness at Night. The Consumer Report healthcare survey is based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS), as well as core measures identified through Medicare.
Although North Valley Hospital is no stranger to recognition – it received the Exceeding Patient Expectations Awards from 2003-2008, as well as Overall Best Performer Award in 2008, from Avatar International Inc., an industry leader in healthcare quality improvement services in exceeding patient expectations in Five Star Service - it is nevertheless honored that its patients have once again recognized the high quality service and care offered to them here in its community.
North Valley Hospital has also received certification for the high quality service and care provided by its Laboratory, has consistently been recognized for its low infection rate, and has most recently been designated as a Community Trauma Center. North Valley Hospital is the only Planetree hospital in Montana and features patient-centered care.
